FAQ

FAQ

Product Features and Performance

Q.

What is UNI-FLARE (packaged gas burner)? What applications is it suitable for?

A.

We can handle a wide range of equipment, including industrial furnaces, drying ovens, and various heating devices.

Q.

What are the features of UNI-FLARE?

A.

Because combustion is controlled by the rotation speed of the combustion fan, it is compact, easy to install, and easy to adjust.

Specifications and Compatibility Requirements

Q.

What is the burner control method?

A.

This is a combustion air frequency-controlled gas pressure equalization valve control system.

[Combustion air frequency control]
This system adjusts the airflow of the combustion fan by using inverter control. By continuously varying the amount of combustion air through this frequency control,
proportional control of the combustion load (turndown control) is achieved.

[Gas pressure equalization valve control]
The gas system employs a pressure equalization valve (integrated with the governor), a mechanism that controls the gas pressure in accordance with the combustion air pressure. The gas volume automatically adjusts proportionally to changes in the combustion air volume, maintaining an appropriate air-fuel ratio and ensuring a stable combustion state and a wide adjustment range.

Q.

How much can the combustion rate be reduced?

A.

The turndown ratio is 1:4, which allows you to reduce the aperture to approximately 1/4.

Q.

Does the burner come with a control panel (operator panel)?

A.

The burner unit and the control panel are separate components; the control panel is designed and manufactured separately before being provided to the customer.

Q.

What fuels can be used?

A.

We support both LP gas and city gas.

Q.

Can you offer suggestions regarding energy conservation, rationalization, and environmental issues?

A.

If necessary, we will provide you with well-founded and optimal proposals based on our past achievements and various calculation and design data.

Instructions for use and operation

Q.

Please tell me what precautions I should take when installing it.

A.

Securely fix the burner in place and ensure that the combustion air volume (oxygen volume) and furnace pressure are properly maintained.
If you are using hot air conversion, be sure to install a blower fan or circulation fan.

Q.

Is the ignition procedure complicated?

A.

When linked with our company's designed and manufactured control panel, basic automated operation is possible.

Q.

Can the furnace temperature be controlled?

A.

This is possible by combining it with a thermometer.

Q.

Is regular adjustment necessary?

A.

To maintain proper combustion and ensure safety, we recommend annual inspections and adjustments. (Article 299 of the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations)

Q.

Is on-site after-sales service available?

A.

We also offer on-site service upon request. Please contact us if you need regular inspections, repairs, or combustion test run adjustments.

Regarding troubleshooting and handling of problems/malfunctions

Q.

What should I do if the flame is unstable?

A.

Please check the adjustment status of the air-fuel ratio and gas pressure.

Q.

What should I do if the engine misfires immediately after ignition?

A.

The problem may be due to dirt or misalignment in the flame detection unit, or improper combustion adjustment. Please contact us for assistance.

Q.

What could be causing the exhaust to be black?

A.

There is a possibility of incomplete combustion due to insufficient air, so please contact us immediately.

Q.

Please tell me why the burner stops midway through.

A.

The problem may be due to an external factor or the activation of a safety device, so the cause needs to be investigated.

Q.

There's a strange smell. What should I do?

A.

There is a possibility of a gas leak, so please stop the vehicle immediately.

Q.

There's a strange noise. What should I do?

A.

There may be a malfunction in the equipment, so please stop operation immediately.
