Can I hang things using a Bessey clamp?

Bessey clamps cannot be used as lifting devices.
For safety reasons, please refrain from using this product to hang objects.

Are there protective caps to prevent scratches?

Can it be tightened at an angle?

metal working and wood working clamps cannot be angled.
metal working clamps (SL, SG, STBM, STBS series) can clamp at angles up to 35°.
The wood working clamps in the KRE series can be tightened from -15° to +15° by attaching the KR-AS attachment (sold separately).
