In recent years, efforts have been made to improve the efficiency of operations by increasing the number of LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) devices installed, allowing for remote gas meter reading, and by inputting information into tablet devices for safety work (gas leak inspections and gas equipment safety inspections), thereby reducing the amount of work required for on-site work and administrative tasks.

As a core filling station, we are equipped with a system to accept outsourced filling from other companies in the event of a disaster. In addition, we have established a system to protect our lives and safety by operating emergency gas generators during power outages, making it possible to fill up with LP gas.

The reason for introducing the UNIDACK filling management system

The reason for updating our system was that the company that had been using the filling system withdrew from the business. They said that they had been using filling machines made by other manufacturers, but they contacted us about our filling management systembecause it had a proven track record of adoption at nearby filling stations. As they work to improve delivery efficiency and promote collaboration with other companies, using the same systemwill be a great advantage, as it will make it easier to link cylinder data.

At the planning stage, there was some concern about whether the UNIDACK filling management system would work well with filling machines from other manufacturers. However, when connecting to filling machines from other manufacturers, the UNIDACK filling management system conducted a study, analysis, and operation meeting in advance to investigate and analyze the communication specifications, which gave the customer peace of mind in deciding to update.

If you contact us when you are not familiar with how to use the new system or when an error occurs, the support center can provide operation instructions and make corrections remotely, so you can use the system with peace of mind even if it is a new system.

As a first step, after updating the system at Shizuoka Filling Station, we were able to have Yoshida Filling Station's system updated to the UNIDACK filling management system.

In recent years, there have been many earthquakes and other disasters, and LP gas has been attracting more attention. The connections and cooperation between filling stations allow for a rapid supply of energy even in emergencies.
