Since the COVID-19 pandemic, YST Co., Ltd. has been outsourcing pipe bending work amid an increase in work on the manufacture of ship handrails. Due to the approximately two-week delivery time for outsourced work, the company has lost orders and has begun considering in-house production. While utilizing subsidies to update its equipment, the company prioritized the ring roller bender, which was delivered in August 2024.

Another major benefit is the flexibility to make corrections and fine-tuning, as everything from purchasing to processing and installation is done in-house. Ercolina's bender is compact and can be moved on casters, so it can be carried to any available space in the factory for work. Furthermore, since the ring roller bendercan be used both vertically and horizontally,YST uses it horizontally. This is because the maximum length of the processed material is 6m, preventing the material from undoing its bending due to its weight during processing.
