Yashima Control Systems Co., Ltd. considered introducing a stud welding machine to reduce the amount of work required during and after welding. The back side of the door of the control panel is where the bolts are welded and pockets and filters are attached. If the bolts are attached by hand welding, distortion and welding burns will appear on the back side of the welded work. After welding, the distortion and welding burns must be polished off before painting can be performed, but if welding is performed with a stud welding machine, there is almost no post-processing work required and it is possible to move on to the painting process.

The riveted assembly frame used instead does not use heat, so no fumes or dust are generated, and distortion is less than with welding, which also leads to improved quality.
