What does CD stand for?

Capacitor Discharge (CAPD) is a welding method that involves charging a capacitor inside the unit and then instantaneously discharging the charge between the stud bolt and the base material.

We can weld the same type of metal, such as iron, stainless steel, and aluminum, as well as dissimilar metals depending on the material.

Will welding have any effect on the workpiece?

Because welding is completed in approximately 1/1000 of a second, there is minimal heat impact, making it ideal for thin sheets. It minimizes dents on the back of the base material and distortion of the sheet metal.

With its simple operation—just set the voltage and gun welding force, and pull the gun switch—even inexperienced users can use it.
