The reason for the introduction was the aging of the stational type spot welding machine (manufactured by another company) that had been used up until then.
In addition to an increase in discontinued parts, the decline in welding strength was becoming noticeable. Since welding work is directly related to the safety of automobiles, such concerns could not be overlooked, and so the company decided to consider installing new equipment.
The two most important factors in the client's considerations this time were the balance between ease of use and cost performance. As a fixed gun limits the freedom of work, the client focused on a portable type that allows for more flexible work.
We actually demonstrated the system and received positive feedback on the beautiful finish of the nugget and the stable welding strength, which was the deciding factor in our decision to introduce it.
