Inside the factory
The opportunity to introduce this system arose from a request for processed pipe manufacturing (over 100A size). The welding process required a "back wave" and high cutting precision.
Shiromoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. had previously been cutting pipes using a band saw. Because they were able to consistently process, transport, and install pipes in-house, they were able to flexibly correct even the slightest distortions caused by band saw cutting.
However, when it came to deliveries to other companies, higher precision was required than ever before, so they decided to introduce a dedicated cutting machine.
The deciding factors for selecting the AXXAIR rotary cutting machine were that they were able to see its accuracy for themselves in Doterai City, northern Kyushu, and that our sales office is located in Fukuoka City, giving them peace of mind with our follow-up system after installation.
As orders for sizes above 100A increased, the customer purchased the CC172 model, but in recent years (2025) orders for sizes 300A also increased, leading to the customer purchasing the CC322 model.

We heard that in the time it took to cutting one pipe with a band saw, it is now possible cutting four or five times with a rotary cutting, greatly improving work efficiency. Since it is important to work efficiently with a small number of people, creating spare time and making effective use of it is a major benefit.
Furthermore, it is highly rated for its ability to "cut well," "cut straight," and "anyone can cut."
No matter when or who cuts, the right angles can be produced with the same precision, eliminating the need for adjustments. High-precision cutting is directly linked to the subsequent welding process, giving us confidence that we can reliably meet customer requests.
In addition, the fact that we own the CC322 (300A size compatible) cutting machine, which is not widely used by other companies, is also a strong selling point for our business partners.
