Fuji Giken Co., Ltd. has its head office and factory in Inabe City, Mie Prefecture, with a site area of 31,763 square meters, and manufactures prototype parts, mass-produced parts, inspection jigs, and after-sales parts necessary for manufacturing sites, including the automotive industry.

The cafe located within "FUJIHUB" serves dishes made with fresh eggs and chicken, and is so popular that it is often full even on weekdays.

Reasons for introducing the ART-3664P spot welding machine

The reason they adopted our portable spot welding machine was because they needed spot welding for automotive body parts, which led to their purchase in 2011.

They introduced a spot welding robot in 2012, but because of the shape of the workpiece, there were some areas that could not be welded with the robot gun. Therefore, they introduced one stational type spot welding machine (ART-3664P) each in 2012 and 2014.

The welding gun is lightweight and compact, and suspended by a balancer, which reduces the burden on the worker. As automation progresses, the focus is on how to make the manual tasks that inevitably arise as simple and efficient as possible.

The machine has wheels, which is an advantage as it can be moved to different locations depending on the work process. Since you can start work simply by bringing the spot welding machine to the workpiece location and connecting the power and air, without having to move large workpieces, it allows for flexible operation.

Apparently, the spot welding machines are primarily used by new employees who joined the company in April 2025. Most employees at Fuji Giken Co., Ltd. are in their 20s and 30s, which is very young by industry standards. Therefore, instead of relying solely on experience and skill, they select machines and create manuals based on the criterion that anyone can perform high-quality, highly productive welding.

Since the unit has wheels, it is easy to move around within the factory.

Fuji Giken Co., Ltd. plans to expand its business by leveraging the knowledge and expertise it has accumulated in the automotive field into other areas, and by continuing to cultivate manufacturing in Inabe City.
