Apparently, they previously used a band cutting and a small manual metal saw blade cutting to cutting pipes.
While the number of projects was increasing, cutting with a band saw was not precise enough, making welding difficult. In addition, considering the aging of their existing metal saw blade cutting machine and the need to improve work efficiency, they considered introducing a semi-automatic machine instead of a manual one.
